SMS Vcard Add-on features:

1. Receive and send Vcards by SMS between Blackberry and Nokia (as well as other phone brands that recognize SMS Vcards).

2. Import the received Vcard easily, with all contacts field.

3. Blackberry users can exchange Vcards by SMS if both parties have the SMS Vcard Add-on installed.

4. Send Vcards by SMS to numbers that are not saved as contact in your agenda.

5. Choose the phone number to which you plan to send the Vcard and the number you want to send (if there are more than one phone numbers in your chosen contacts).

6. Recognition of different language characters used in contacts.

Version 1.5 is now released.

New features in version 1.5:

Several customers asked to send VCARD by SMS directly to phone numbers that are not in their address book. This can be done now by skipping the recipient selection and entering the phone number. See the video for more details.
Mini help page will be displayed when clicking on the application icon.
The application is now visible in task list.

Our application has arrived to version 1.4 and we are proud that we achieved this together. We've been trying to include in each version a few of your suggestions and today our application is more complex.

Dear all,

We have put a lot of effort in adding new facilities for the SMS Vcard Add-on and we plan to expand its capabilities further on.

This why, SMS Vcard Add-on will be available for 1.99 USD on mobihand.com and its channels until December 31, 2009. Starting with January 1st, 2010 our application will cost 2.99 USD on these channels.

The upgrades will remain free of charge for all our customers.

Release of Version 1.3

Version 1.3 of SMS VCard Add-on is now released.

The new version brings several improvements and facilities for users:

1. Blackberry users can now exchange Vcard by SMS if both parties have the SMS Vcard Add-on installed.

2. You can now send Vcards by SMS to recipient numbers even if they are stored in international format.

3. You can choose the phone number to which you send the Vcard and the number you want to send (if there are more than one phone numbers in your chosen contacts).

4. Contacts having names with different language characters are correctly transmitted and received.

Blackberry SMS VCard Add-on v1.0 is launched

This blog will be the main support page for the Blackberry SMS VCard Add-on.

The Blackberry SMS VCard Add-on is a Blackberry add-on that enables Blackberry users to import and send contacts using the same SMS protocol as Nokia.

Our target was to create the most simple application that will fit the existing Blackberry menus and way of operation with minimal intrusion and overhead.

The Blackberry users will notice two new menus that will enable them to import an SMS to the contact list and to send a contact as SMS:

The application is well integrated in the system, starts automatically and does not show in the task manager or applications menu. Users will notice it only in the Advanced Setup list of applications.
